Melissa has been singing since she was little. Growing up, she was involved in musical theatre and also played the flute. At 18, Melissa fronted her first rock band, Shooter. From there she was lead singer in Wind, and then was front and center for one of Baltimore' hottest bands of the 80's and 90's, Tiffany. After the singing stopped and the family took priority, Melissa received a phone call from from a former band member to sing again....after 30+ years, Melissa was back on stage with SpinOff! Melissa's major musical influences were present early on and consisted of Linda Ronstadt, Elton John and the Rolling Stones. Later, as her singing took off; The Pretenders, Blondie, The Police, Aerosmith, and Madonna were all influential When asked what her musical dream would be; Melissa said it would be to open for a huge band. Modestly, she said " I don't need to be a star but to be able to write music and have people listen to it would be cool" Melissa is very diverse in the genres she listens to...she mentioned that she loves so many different kinds of music; "I love Pretty Reckless, but also Dorothy. I love Matchbox Twenty and Daughtry. The Civil Wars, The Stones, Led Zeppelin, Chris Stapleton. I just love what speaks to me." Melissa's greatest musical accomplishment was two fold. Getting to perform full time (make a living at it) when she was younger and also that she used to write songs together and earned several Billboard awards! Melissa stated that even though that time was limited it made her very proud that we could put songs together that sounded good and were quality writing. Melissa's favorite part of performing live is the butterflies, the spontaneity and the people having fun! "I still sometimes cant believe that I get to do this again so it fills that artist part of me" Her rituals include simply warming up a bit and then a crash course in the words to the songs, particularly new ones and a shot of something to calm the nerves and warm the throat! Melissa has been happily married to her unbelievable and incredible husband (and band sound man) Bob....guess who wrote this! 😂🤣....for going on 36 years. They have two children, Audrey (32) and Nick (324. While there are no grandkids to spoil, her baby boy Bear (our German Sheppard pup) makes up for it! When asked what she is grateful for this time around, Melissa says "I am grateful for every person that takes the time to listen to us play. Whether its 300 people or 5, i am going to do my best. We just want it to be an experience people enjoy tell others about" Come out and meet Melissa and the rest of the band at our next event!!!

Dave has had the music bug since he was a child. When asked, Dave said since he was a little boy, he has always loved the drums. Most kids avoided band class in school, when Dave was offered band as an elective in 6th grade, he jumped on it! Dave has had the music bug since he was a child. When asked, Dave said since he was a little boy, he has always loved the drums. Most kids avoided band class in school, when Dave was offered band as an elective in 6th grade, he jumped on it! Because schools are limited and there was already someone playing the drums, Dave almost had to choose a different instrument. Luckily, It turned out that the drummer for the past few years was graduating early. Dave was able to learn/play the drums. Then in high school he was in the marching band which really helped round out his playing. After graduation, real life got in the way for a few years. Dave started playing again in his late 20s. He worked 10+ years as a drum tech for local drummer, Ray Snyder, and the bands Tripwire and the New Romance. Dave earned his chance to sit in and play a song with both bands. That gave him the bug so he practiced hard until he got his break with SpinOff (formerly known as The Willow Oak Band.) Dave has been influenced by a few mainstream drummers that he looked up to along his drummer journey. Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, Joey Jordison, Stewart Copeland, and Neil Peart all caught Dave's attention. Ask him who were the major influences and he will tell you they were local drummers Ray Synder of “WazUp” and Chuck Newgent of “Tripwire”. Dave said over the years these guys have always been on point by pleasing the crowds and putting out nonstop rock. Now that he is the man behind the drums playing live, he finds himself emulating and playing a combination of both their styles. Dave is actually living his Rock & Roll fantasy right now. He has always just wanted to play live and now, he is doing that! Next level dream would be to sell out local venue, Power plant Live! Dave said that this would be awesome! (We agree!) Dave's taste in music is broad and wide! His favorite music is any kind of rock, country, rap, even some classical. He really loves all music genres. If you ask Dave what he likes about performing live, he will tell you; the nervousness before, the adrenaline during, and appreciation of the fans/patrons after! His performance day rituals include: after setting up he makes sure to grab something to eat. Most of the time he doesn't have any time between sets. Just before he takes the stage, he likes to step away and get his head right. He may even listen, one last time, to any songs that are new before he finally stretches and is ready to play. Dave is married to his rock and sweetheart, Tara Carter. They have been friends since 1990. They dated a few months early on until their lives went down separate paths. Their roads crossed again 15+ years later and they have been inseparable since. They have been married for 12 years! That love story led to three great kids, Jose - 30 (who helps the band as a roadie!), Saleenah - 28 and David - 13. No grand kids yet! If you have ever seen Dave play, there is one thing you can always count on; he will always bring the party behind the drums! His energy level is through the roof but Dave has a favor to ask the band's supporters; the more energy you put out on the dance floor, the more energy we will give you from the stage, so bring it on! Joe is married to his lovely wife Dawn ❤ of 26 years and resides in Harford County, MD. He has one step daughter, Allison and one Grandson, Aidan (19). Joe is married to his lovely wife Dawn ❤ of 26 years and resides in Harford County, MD. He has one step daughter, Allison and one Grandson, Aidan (19). Joe shares a great tradition with Aidan in that they have gone to a park and ridden rollercoasters every year for his birthday since he was 9 (front seat no hands!) 🤗😊 Joe has been playing music for over 50 years with several bands throughout the NJ Shore area before joining SpinOff nearly a year ago. Joe's Rock & Roll fantasy is to be able to play music full time and make tons of money doing it...although he would settle for just doing "OK" due to his love of playing! 😊🤣 Influenced by many artists, Joe finds his musical preferences mood driven and loves everything from Blues to Progressive to Swing. His greatest musical accomplishment (so far) was his first time playing Stone Pony and touring Europe with a 53 piece orchestra! When asked what he likes most about performing live, Joe says he loves the connection and feedback from a live audience. He looks for the one person tapping their foot and when he sees that he knows they have connected! As with most musicians, Joe has a performance day ritual he adheres to faithfully; No sugar or Dairy that day as it messes with the vocal chords! Dave has been into music from a very young age. After receiving his rst guitar at
the age of 13, his musical journey started to begin. Playing battle of the band’s
contests in School, participating in after school bands and joining the high school guitar ensemble. When he’s not playing music he loves watching baseball, and spending time

the age of 13, his musical journey started to begin. Playing battle of the band’s
contests in School, participating in after school bands and joining the high school guitar ensemble. When he’s not playing music he loves watching baseball, and spending time outside with his family & 3 pets.
Dave has been in numerous projects throughout the years. Cover projects such as
Blackout Thursday and the O) Brands. Most notably he played bass in the local
Baltimore group Ashes to Embers for 8 years. The group put out 1 full length album,
and three EP’s. Playing such venues as Recher Theatre, Rams Head Live, Sonar and
being featured on 98 Rock’s Noise in the Basement at the 8x10.
Music is Life is the way Dave lives his life. Always having his earbuds in, listening in
the car or playing his guitar . . . Dave is always surrounded by music. His musical
in4uences are centered around Rock/Metal . . . Most notably 90’s Alternative. Bands such as Alice in Chains, Weezer, Soundgarden & Primus. All the way to heavier
bands such as Sevendust, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle & Tremonti. Playing live is an amazing feeling for Dave. The lights of the stage, the crowd
